CHAJUL Belt These unique belts are part of the traditional clothing worn by the women of Chajul, a village way up in the highlands of Guatemala. Each belt is hand woven by the women using ancient Mayan Designs. The women wear these belts in one very long piece that they wrap around their waist and tuck into the back. I have taken the belts and made them into two belts, one featuring the lovely and very intricate Mayan Design and the second using the simple stripe motif and sold at a much lower price. I have designed snaps on the inside of these belts and with several different rows so that they can work for several different size waist. These are one of a kind belts and become not just a belt but a collectors item.. |

 Belt (105) - $60.00 It’s a fine woven , traditional Mayan belt, worn by the Mayan women as an enhance and to complete their outfits Unique Mayan Designs are carefully hand woven and embroidered into the belts. The design runs through out the complete belt. They are 4 inches wide and 41 inches long. Though for the Mayan Women the belts are longer and they tie them into their clothing, I have made the belts shorter and use Velcro to fasten them so that they can be moved to fit various sizes. |
